There's going to be some sort of skills competition by soccer players coming to Houston in December. I'm not sure how good this will be but they're apparently getting some big names. http://www.thesoccerhour.com/index.php/ronaldinho-and-world-stars-in-houston-december-22nd/ http://www.freekickmastersusa.com/Home.asp Site from a previous competition
No way ronaldinho will make it. La Liga will be entering their winter break at the time and i doubt Rijkaard or anyone at Barca would fancy ronaldinho doing anything but relaxing. Plus, the one in Marbella made a lot of noise about who would be there but yet most of the best PK takers in the world didnt make it. If Juninho Pernambucano doesn't take part then whoever wins can't really be considered the best.
See? FREE KICKS, not "penalties." Count me in, and in the front row if Cuauhtemoc Blanco comes (he'll have a short trip distance from Chicago). I can tell you that Pavel Pardo from MEXICO is a lot better than Marquez with a stopped ball. I don't remember seeing too many games where Marquez scored a well-placed shot against a good defense... I believe Roberto Carlos is the best at the strong shot, and Ronaldinho the best at the placed shot.
Roberto Carlo is the best at hitting the ball as hard as he can and hoping it dosnt fly into the 50th row. I would stil say Becks is the best at free kicks, but there are plenty of great ones out there.
SOunds cool but I don't know that all those stars would commit to that. Have you heard whether Barcelona is coming back to play in Houston again this summer? Someone (not a reliable source) told me heard they are coming back.
I've been a becks fan since his reserve days at united and his time at preston north end and i've been on his jock for a while but Becks is in the top 5 best fk takers but definitely not the best. See:- Pernambucano, Juninho- Lyon, Brazil.
