Does that mean McGinnis (sp) is now available?

No. That means he's a backup.

    This surprises me actually.

Is PG a position of need for the Cavs? To me this means they are afraid of McInnis leaving after this season and want a compitent PG in Snow to be signed long term. And clearly the Cavs were REALLY down on Ollie.

I would venture to say that McInnis would be available at the right price right now, especially for a big man.

Dajuan Wagner can score in bunches, but he will never be a PG. As a tiny 2, to see the court he must play with a big PG capable of defending the opposing SG.

Snow (if healthy) is exactly that type of PG, and Wagner and James should mesh well with him and he plays good D.

It helps them. Not as much as losing Boozer hurt, but it's a start.
