I didn't understand what was going on. What was the deal with the ABC "Analyst," wannabe coach and Campbell's Soup Kid-looking Terry Bowden? I would have loved to hear that blithering idiot use either the terms "bling-bling" or "fashizzle my nizzle." It would have been hilarious. Snoop is a major sellout.
He may be overhyped, but he kicks ass in True Crime: Streets of LA! You just got knocked the F*CK out!
This guy's first major hit was 187 on an Undercover Cop, from the Deep Cover Soundtrack. The guy goes from talking about killing cops, to mainstream, and he really hasn't even changed, just less gangster and more pimp. I think about this every time I see him on a commercial. It really says something about our society. It's mainstream now to degrade women. P.S. If you think the T.V. commercials were cheesy, you should have heard the radio spot.
Snoop Dogg's name is really what has made him a household figure. So many white people who hear his name will repeat it when making a comment about hip-hop.
snoop is such a larger than life guy. id give anything to be him for a day. one of the best times i had last summer was the chilli peppers/ snoop show at the woodlands. the guys fun in a barrel
amazing how much run Pimps and Pedophiles get these days better to be a Pimp than a PHD Rocket River If I see BISHOP DON 'MAGIC' WAND one more fricken time. . . goodness he annoys me. . . pimp TURN FRICKIN PREACHER but still dresses and acts like a pimp ROAST MFer
Notice the cheap plug in for that worthless phone game system called N-gage. The screens too small and too many buttons and you have to take the entire back off to put a new game in...Screw that.
Question for y'all: Let's say Snoop is a spokesman for widgets and does radio/TV spots. Would you buy said widget because of Snoop (i.e. would sales increase)? Do you think he's still a draw for the masses? Just curious.
If the ads are clever and done right. This Nokia thing is terrible on a lot of different levels, insert Garth Brooks and it's still bad. Fish out of water has always worked, when ads companys try to capture the essence of the artist they usually fail.
He would not influence my decision one bit. He has become, in my eyes, the music world's version of Mike Tyson. A former stalwort that is now nothing but a joke and provides a comic presence whereever he goes. It really is a sad sight to behold, given I was his biggest fan over a decade ago.
