Um, Smallz, no offense bud, but why do you think you should get first preference for an open spot over someone like me, Rule, or anyone else? I would really like to hear your explanation on why you should get picked first over people who do NOT have a history of quitting fantasy/sim leagues.

I'll be going in for surgery this Wednesday and trying to recover for the next 2-4 weeks. I should be home the same day, but don't know if I'll be drugged up or not. I don't know what kind of condition I'll be in the first 2-3 days, so if I can't make it, have someone else draft for me. I have a wireless connection set up to surf from the Web, since that and reading books is about all I'll be doing for a while... hehe... so drafting won't be a problem as long as I'm not in agony...

Smeg, Thanks for letting me in. I have a question about the draft. Is it going to be at a certain time and each person has like 5 minutes to make their selection or is it going to start at a certain time and people make their picks online when it is their turn? If it is the second option, I can make the draft, but if it is a certain block of time then I will have to do one of a few things: 1) Have someone else draft for me 2) Pre-rank the players and let that determine who I get 3) Just have the software or game or whatever do an "auto" draft for me I want to do what is easiest and fastest for everyone. If we do a live draft in which people post their selections on the BBS, I would use a 30 minute time limit on myself that way I am not holding things up.
Manny, not sure if you have any seen one of our drafts on the bbs, but generally they aren't a quick process and can often be more exciting and attention grabbing than the season itself. I supect however this year we might put a time limit on picks, maybe 12hrs...... what does everyone elkse think of this.
I wouldn't mind using even more defensive players if the option is available. It just never is. One kick returner would be cool too.
I have no problem with the time limit and I wouldn't mind using more def players and the kick returner option.
I'll be blindly picking players hoping to finish in the middle of the pack again this year in a sport I don't really follow. WOO!! Can't wait!! Are we starting this Friday? It sure would be nice if you guys could start on Sunday or Monday... please... please... please
