Hey guys, I'm an XM radio subscriber, and I'm seriously thinking of picking up another satelite radio, but this time going with Sirius since it has the NFL channel. They broadcast all the games, and have the home and away announcers.

I don't live in TX, and travel alot, so this is something cool for me to be able to hear my Texans games.

Besides the play by play, what else is on the NFL channel? It says 24/7 NFL coverage.

Sirius Black is doing a radio show? Is he broadcasting directly from Azkaban?

It looks like Real World Boston has started to pay off for him.

We are the station that carries the Texans and we definitely will be obn Sirius...we've been setting it up since I got here 7 months ago. It will be great. Marc, John, and Andre will simulcat the game and when we go to commercial they will run station promos. You will ove it!

I'm looking forward to that Chance.

To answer the first question though, The NFL channel has had a variety of NFL programming. They have coverage of every team(Team names show up as the song title) and they have a couple of fantasy shows. They usually run a program called NFL preview and talk to coaches, players etc. and then have experts talk about the teams.

Glad to see I wasn't the only person wondering what the hell Harry Potter's godfather had to do with football.

Go with Sirius - ALL OF YOU!

Please do not pour your sat radio money into Clear Channel's coffers. CC owns XM.

CC ruined free radio, they'll ruin sat radio.

Now that Sirius offers a portable boombox unit like XM, there's absolutely no reason to go with XM.....

Well, there's the whole "programming" thing. :)

Any of you guys have either Sirius or XM at the office? I'd like to get one but don't want to buy it and then find out reception sucks. I would think it would suck despite the fact I sit with a window view.

Actually Harry Potter is dead. I found his obituary in our local paper and you can see it online here (scroll down to the deceased section and check the third name on the list.)

I have XM radio at work, and Ihave a window seat and it works great.

When I sat on a higher floor, it worked alot better, but now i'm on the first floor, and I only get one bar, but it rarely breaks up.
