i think that we need a small trade to get more playing time for boki and posey and rice we need to trade a player like mo taylor with terrence morris for some backup for eddie

our small forward spot is over crowded. i think when we traded kenny(thank god) we should have traded morris as well and got some big man for a backup, maybe the rockets are not doen trading yet

There's a reason that ralatively few trades ever go down in the NBA...it's not easy to get 2 or more teams to agree on who should get whom and then get it to fit under the CBA. It was actually nice to see this deal work out with everybody getting what they wanted. We can continue to keep our ears open to possible trades, but by no means do we have to make any more moves. Our goal is to make the playoffs this year. As much as Boki and TMo are nice young players, there isn't much chance for them to get on-the-court experience this year while we're trying to make it out of the West. They'll just have to bust their tails in practice and learn what they can so they can make a differnec when they get the chance. I'd like to unload Rice and/or MoT's contract too, but it ain't happening. Anyway, I'm pretty content right now to go to war with what we got. The next goal should be to establish a playing rotation and get these guys some time together to develop some chemistry so we can keep up the winning ways.

    I agree Moonnumack-

Let this group gel and develop chemistry. We have a great deal of talent. I wish we could unload Glen Rice' contract, and Mo Taylor could get his game back with a vengeance- as he is now we could not get much for him.

    Develop the rotation.

Rice now provides veteran leadership in the lockerroom and his contract is up in another year. The future at the 3 is either Posey, if they try and resign him, and Boki. I think that Posey was a good addition. A 3 that can play D. Give them time to gel and see where that takes us.

Posey will probably only be here for this season unless he understands how much he's really worth. If we trade Taylor, we really screw ourselves because then we will only have 1 PF on the whole team. Besides, who would take Taylor right now?

Don't hold your breath if you expect Boki to become a major contributor this year. 20 games in, the rotation is pretty much set. Boki will get his chance next season, just like Rudy has already said.

Posey is a good addition. He defends well and is a good rebounder. The Rockets can probably match any offers this offseason. Posey had his chance in Denver to shine since he was the only option (plus a overpaid Howard) but really struggled after a fast start. Good role player and that's about it.

Rice will be gone and probably Tmo unless he makes dramatic improvements this year. So it'll be Posey and Boki for next year, not bad.

Why would Posey only be here this year? He can defend, he gets about 3 assists per game, he has Houston ties....why deal him away or let him go? Let's see how he does for us, I'm expecting good things.

Posey will be our backup this season...hopefully. If he ends up starting its probably because Rice got hurt or isn't playing well. Both are bad situations.

Therefore, look for Posey to shop around this offseason. It'll be up to the Rox is they feel he is worth matching. That may also depend on how well Rice, TMo and Boki look.

Posey looks like a great fit for this season, however.
