    Why do they wait until a week AFTER Hallloween to show these every year?

    The World Series and November sweeps.

    Game 7 was scheduled for the night before Halloween (even though the series ended in 5, networks still have to prepare for that). And most networks save their new shows/episodes for Novemeber... where ratings in that month (along with May) help determine advertising rates.
