what is the name of grandpa simpson's friend? He has a very big beard and broke it in the episode where grandpa gets his license back.
Talking out of turn...that's a paddling. Looking out the window...that's a paddling. Staring at my sandals...that's a paddling. Paddling the school canoe...ooh, you better believe that's a paddling.
Did anyone else notice that Dr. Marvin Monroe is still alive, as per last Sunday's new episode. Apparently, he was very ill.
Yeah, I was wondering about that, too. Also, I started rewatching the Simpsons, and it' really didn't take a big dive in the later seasons. A few of the early episodes weren't so great, either, at least in terms of starting off one way, then going off on wild tangents.
"You can do whatever you want...just keep your hands above the equator." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- AUTOMATIC GUNFIRE " Was that for you, or was that for me?"
That is what makes that show great, IMO. The writers decided to bring him back when we least expect it and then "cover up" his death.
And do people notice how Frank Grimes headstone changed? Also, how Snowball I was buried in the backyard, instead of in the pet cemetary as before?
Maybe after the Halloween episode where all the zombies come to life from the graveyards, Snowball I moved to the backyard? Isn't the backyard is empty of headstones before and after the episode with Snowballs I - IV.
Yea I think it is. Somtimes I wish they'd think stuff through sometime and not just decide to throw together what looks good at the time. IT MATTERS TO US LOYAL FANS DAMMIT!
No kidding. People rip on the show for depreciating value, but it's still freaking hilarious. It's amazing how fresh it still is after 15 (!) years.
Dallas always said the greatest thing about the Simpsons is that each half is great almost entirely upon its own. You can watch the first half of the Simpsons, and not necessarily know how it ends, so you keep watching and then exclaim, "OH YEAH! Now I remember this one!" But you can also randomly watch the second half of a show, and get just as much of a kick out of it as if you had been watching the whole thing. At first I had no clue what he was talking about, but I'm starting to see now.... or maybe it's insanity setting in........
This has been another episode of what my boyfriend thinks... please tune in tomorrow evening for my boyfriend's opinion on monkeys who have been trained to play TV theme songs on harmonicas.
i've got a question. There sometimes is a waiter on the show who is somewhat fat, bald on top and always says WHY YES in a real strange way. I get the feeling that this guy is based on a real life actor, one from way back when. Anyone know if he's just made up completely or based on a real person?
Hey, I'm just putting his two cents in, considering he doesn't have the opportunity to do so at this point in time. So shoot me.
