Looks like Brian Griese may be out for the season. Unless the Bucs pick up a veteran QB somewhere, we may get to see a lot of Chris Simms this year. I hope he can do enough to give my Bucs a chance to win.

Ouch. I was never a big Simms fan, even when he was at UT. Major was twice the QB he was. But of course, I hope he does well.

The Bucs are going to be unstoppable with Simms and his 4.35 speed...

Luckily for you, Okalahoma is nowhere on the schedule.

    BURN!

I hope Simms does well. I don't like him, but I don't have any ill wishes towards him either.

Major is now the QB coach at Syracuse. Their stats for six games: 49% completion, 3 TD, 5 INT. I'm guessing that both coach and player aren't doing too well.

i think the Bucs should see if Major is available, instead.

If they put him in a position to not make mistakes they should be fine. He played well in the preseason but of course that's the preseason. The guy should have learned something by now after sitting for two seasons.

I think he'll do good, however, he needs a good running game to be efficient and not make mistakes...

I'm sure he would to the way Roy has been getting toasted this season. The TD to Shockey. Come on, Shockey's a hell of a player, but he doesn't burn people. Roy Williams is constantly out of position this season.

I think Simms will do well. In his limited action last year he looked poised and did a good job.
