I rather enjoy the mediocrity of their glory years. Can't help but feel envious of their record, but would not want the ends with their means. I will enjoy their time in the lotto though. BTW, NBA Dish. ------------------ snap crackle pop

I despise the Jazz but I admire them. Two stars nearly forty years old kicking ass. I can't wait til Stockton forgets to take his Geritol, breaks his femur and retires as a result. Well, I don't want him to get seriously hurt. But it won't break my heart when he goes away. He and Malone. Not to bring up his name, but remember when Quitten (on the Bulls) told Malone in the Finals, "The Mailman doesn't deliver on Sunday"? (Sunday, game 1 of the Finals, three or four years ago.) Malone proceeded to brick his free throws. Jazz lost by 1 or 2. Changed the whole complexion of the series. Bulls won another title. Jazz went home dejected. Yes!! ------------------

actually I quite enjoy the waste of a great season the Spazz have. Getting that homecourt, having a great regular season but either choking in the playoffs, running out of gas, whatever... I LOVE IT. hahahhaa all those blunders in the playoffs. Just shows regular season's totally different from the real show. The greatest thing is when all those crazy Utah fans carrying those 'It's Our Year' signs leave the delta center in a pure state of sorrow and rejection. I love this game.

I just hate their style of play and the obvious favoritism from the refs. It's like the refs carry them through the regular season, then abandon them in the playoffs. Either that or they just choke when it really matters. ------------------ Hakeem, Hasaw, Haconquered.
Great thread name, first of all. Great usernames, second of all--Kill Dirty Stockton is unbelievably beautiful, but, come on, Gene the PIG ain't too shabby, neither. What I think is funny is that Utah doesn't really think ANYBODY hates them. And basically EVERY franchise does. I understand that a lot of the reason for that hate has been that they have constantly had great seasons despite not having the most talented team in the league. But they are very dirty, very boring (IMHO), and by far are MY most hated team. By the way, did I mention MY beautiful sig??? ------------------ Jazzkiller

Thanks, zrb and slc, I love this user name, I used to be MaloneKilla like what maybe 2 and a half years ago but I formatted my computer and lost the password stored and was too lazy to email Clutch. Noone knows why I started posting now, but I do know this... Jerry Sloan is the devil and Malone, Flopton, and Ostertag are his evil spawns. HAHAHA... Yea that is an awesome signature slcrocket.
The thing that I'm worried about is Donyell Marshall. This is the first year that the Jazz have had a big man as their 3rd main option - will this make them more of a force in the playoffs?? I sure hope not, but there's something gnawing away inside of me that thinks that maybe the damnable Jazz will perform a little better this year... ------------------

Here goes me losing ALL credibility...but...wait for it...I wouldn't mind seeing Utah win it all. I have always been the type of bloke who respects loyalty and you can't go past Stockton and Malone playing their whole careers in one place. You also can't fault them for busting their asses every night and giving 100%every single game. I admire that. I don't want to see them win it...but I won't begrudge them it if they do. I agree with the Doc, I think Marhall will be a HUGE X factor (they are about 20 and 4 with him as a starter) One things for sure...I'd rather see them win then have to bear watching Bryant ride Shaq for number two... ------------------

Kill Dirty Stockton--had the sig since I registered, and have NO intention of changing it. I have the feeling I'm going to enjoy your posts... Hatred of the Utah Jazz can NOT be overdone. Dr. Noogie--I swear to God I hope you're wrong, but I'm not going to deny that the same thought has entered my mind. I literally honestly do believe that this Utah team is better than the ones that got them to the Finals a few years ago, and Marshall is the main reason. That being said, do I think they can beat San Antonio, Los Angeles, or Portland? NO. But I do think they are better than they were. ScreamingRocketJet--You kiss your MOTHER with that mouth?
