Maybe Shumpert needs to let his hair grow out, and put it back into that huge flat top he used to have. He seemed decent back when he had that hair from what I saw.

I don't really understand what's going on with him. He's does not contribute offensively. Okay, so there's defense, though, right? Uh, is there? I don't know. I specifically focused on his defense when he was on the court a couple games ago. I didn't see anything that stuck out.

Guy is certainly working himself farther and farther down the bench.

    This is false.

    It's more like
    Shumpert vs Green vs Rivers

I'm pretty sure it's just Green vs. Shumpert at this point. Rivers can handle the ball, which we desperately need.

Pringles held the company line when they were trying to strongarm House, but his superior value to those 2 is pretty glaring. Not to mention he's capable as 3/4, so he plays a different role than Shumpert. It's a stupid comp to begin with.

Green is a very bad defensive player, and so is Faried. Unsurprisingly this great run of defense has coincided with an injury to Faried and reduced minutes for Green. The only real question is whether Shumpert can start to play smarter on the offensive end between now and the postseason because he is a significant defensive upgrade over Green. If he's still playing so stupidly on that side, Green will probably stay ahead of him.

Green still has a lot of value because when he is on its like having a semi star on the bench. Obv he is not gonna be on most of the time thats why he is on the bench making the min, but you still play him a couple of mins every game to see if he is hot or not.

Shumpert's play has been increasong steadily, last game he made plays happen even if his shot wasnt going in.

He seems slightly better the last few games from his horrible start. He may have been more injured than reported. He is still afraid to shoot from 3 for some reason.

Yeah, as @Will mentioned, there seems to be some stubbornness going on there about taking long 2's on offense and switching on defense. These are core strategies for us. Maybe he started out thinking doing whatever suits him is best for his future, but more recently he's been buying in more?

I hope he continues to pick it up because he can be so useful to us.
