SHSU beat Texas Tech

Sam Houston vs. Texas State (my alma mater) in football tomorrow night on FSSW.

 

Awesome.

I hate Bob Knight, so this makes me happy.

 

How many players has Coach Knight choked tonight?

 

It's OK if he does it as long as his players don't. They must have discipline, but that's not applicable to him.

 

Wow, the Big 12 sucks today.

Okie state also lost to North Texas, and Iowa State lost to Bradley.

 

The first one is unacceptable, but Bradley's typically pretty good in a pretty decent conference.

 

Not the first time we've beaten Bobby Knight and the Red Raiders. We're actually 2-2 all-time against them since Knight took over.

 

eh, North Texas isn't a terrible team - they've got a solid frontcourt.

 

Bob Marlin (SHSU) is a great coach. His teams are always competitive and play a classic team style of basketball...I'm still surprised he hasn't taken a job at a bigger school, but I'm glad he hasn't. If I'm not mistaken he's had a couple of offers at bigger programs.

 

Dont worry. Tech will lose most if its game this year. But still find a way to beat my Aggies twice... Hell make it three times. SHSU almost made the tourney last year btw.

 

And A$M was this close to losing to UTEP. Miners lead at least 80% of the game, but our youth and inexperience (four true freshmen saw serious PT) showed up in the end.

I think he is going to retire at the end of the season. Word around Lubbock...

 

I can't believe we still have him either. He's been great since the day he took over. One more NCAA appearance and he'll probably be gone.
