So nobody saw this today? Didn't see a thread for it...

Anyway, fun movie! I liked it more than the original.

The twist ending they build up to is a little obvious, but cleverly hinted at nonetheless.

I haven't seen it but me and my girlfriend are taking my nieces and nephew to the movie on Saturday. If you say it's better than the first I can't wait to see it.

    not better than the original.

but i found the puss in boot character absolutely hilarious.

also... pinocchio / ladies underwear scene... LOL!

hard to top the original but well worth the wait.

Yep, I enjoyed it more so than the original. I thought on the whole it had some pretty clever elements in the movie.

Even though I enjoyed the first movie, I didn't like it as much as ppl hyped it up to be.

I really didn't like the first one, but the g/f made me go see it, i thought it was a little slow but also at parts very clever.

I also loved it more than the original. The first one made me laugh occasionally and I thought it was very cute and clever. This one had me lauging my ass off the whole time.

They need to do a spin off of the ginger bread man. He cracks me up every time he speaks.

The first one doesn't age well at all. We rented it the other night for my roommate to see since he'd never seen it. I swear I thought it was a lot funnier than that, but it wasn't.

It was a lot like the first one, but it's chuck full of hillarious throw-away gags from start to finish. The first five minutes alone it felt like a funnier version of Scary Movie they spoof so many things back to back to back. It never quite settles down, but that's what makes it so fun.

I thought it was a little short, though. Maybe it was just me.

I heard a review of it and the reviewer said Shrek-lovers wouldn't like it as much as the original. Judging from this thread, I guess he was wrong.

I think I've watched more kids movies than adult movies since they were born...

Hopefully it will be playing in Baharain soon. I want to see it. It's hard to believe it is better than the first. But man, this makes me excited to see it.

Or I could watch one Mr. Bill rerun over and over again and accomplish the exact same thing. :)

Apparently the Antonio Banderas character of Puss N Boots is really funny. Anyone confirm this?

Can't wait to see it. I shouldn't have trouble getting a ticket at the Cinemark here in Harlingen. One 12-screen theater, and Shrek 2 is on 6 of the screens. In a city of 60,000-ish, no problem getting in.
