On a lighter note the 1999 team was loaded with talent. Beard, Bubba Teague and Chad Stevens ( I saw him 2 summers ago and the guy is the size of a truck) made for one hell of an offense. I really thought the had an outside shot to make it to state...
Chad was such a great guy. I watched him play for UT and he also lived in my dorms. Bubba Teague was quarterback for UH. I saw him play vs. UT in 2000. He wasn't too bad. And it sucks about Ryan having to leave Michigan, and it sucks even more that his mom died. Mrs. Beard was a riot - what an awesome lady. 86, where do you work?
