I thinking the lack of shooters is killing us.
Cuttino has fallen off. MoT has fallen off
and Griff not hitting his occasional 3

Moochie has never been a great shooting IMO

Rice USE TO Be a shooter
Nachbar is the SHOOTER of the future.

Teams are packing in their zonish defenses on us
and we cannot shoot them out of it.

SF and even CM have been good getting to the rack
even with this. . but how many jumpshot had BRICKED
after they passed it [EVEN THE GREAT YAO!!!]

    Prescriptions
    1. YAO DUNK THE D*MN BALL WITH AUTHORITY
Screw this lay up **** or this fadeaway ****

    2. GET THE SHOOTERS ON THE FLOOR
I'm not saying start Nachbar. . . but time to give him a whiff

    3. Don't just jack up shots
I don't mind Cat jacking **** up from 8 and in. . .. but from 15 and out pisses me off.

Why would any shooter in the NBA want to join the ISO team full of ISO-players?

to set up at the 3 and wait on the pass once SF penetrates?

Hell right about now. . .you could PROP DALE ELLIS
Ancient *ss on the 3 line and he'd be wide open

Well i saw Dallas play that same weak ass zone against Minny last night and pretty much get shot out by not using the drive and kick method, but by passing the ball quickly and making the zone move.Joe smith and garnett punished them inside which is what you can do against a soft team like Dallas. All these so called zone busters the Rockets so called need are false. Sharing the ball without dribbling is more like it.

What we need are passers. We already have too many shooters on this team. We need to go back to the inside outside game. We need somebody who can pass it down low the way Elie, Horry, Cassell, Maxwell, etc used to do. Those guys understood that throwing it down low creates better opportunities for everybody. When the double or triple team comes, kick back out and those same passers outside either get wide open shots or lanes open up for the drive. Simple basketball that won us 2 championships. If the current Rocks can just execute that, we'll be in the playoffs and might even go deep.

In what alternate universe do you see this happening?

Seriously, I'm trying to figure out what everyone sees in Nachbar. In the limited time he's had on-court so far, he's shown me absolutely NOTHING. From what I've seen, he can't defend, can't pass, can't shoot and has quite a bit of trouble even thinking.

Apart from hearing on ESPN before draft day that he was a studly European sharpshooter, where did you guys get your info from? Have any of you actually seen Boki play a game??

For those of you who say he'd shine if Rudy would give him some PT, I'd argue that if he had any game at all, Rudy'd be glad to get him off the bench -- especially considering our inconsistent play at forward this year.

I'm still hoping for the best, but this is really starting to look like a major bust of a 1st-round pick. So far he's been the worst player on the team this year.

Lamond Murray is available I think. He's with the Lakers or Raptors?

Big contract. Whoever has him may want to swap him with the Rice, who's contract expires soon and can sit on the bench just as productively as Lamond Murray.

Does it ever occur to you guys that the Rockets lack consistent shooting because they don't have offensive flow, or rhythm?
