So I have to pretty much shave my beard area daily now I may be able to get away with not shaving on the weekends if I have no where to go but certainly need to during the week.

So I usually just get the Edge Shaving Gel from Costco and use that as my shaving cream/gel but I bought this travel pack online really cheap and it came with Barbosol Shaving Cream (or foam) and I actually liked that more than the edge gel since at least to me felt like a smoother shave and smelled a whole lot better.

So what sort of shaving cream or gel do you guys use and find works best?

Walmart and target sell these gift sets for around $9. You get one razor, 6 cartridges (5 blade) and a bottle of shave gel. I have 3 bottles of shave gel. Works good for me.

After a shower hot water and a Mach 3 are all I need unless I haven't shaved in a while. If it's been a while, I'll start with a beard trimmer set to the lowest level, and then follow that up with hot water and a Mach 3.

Since being introduced to Shave Secret, I haven't used any shaving cream in three years....

I shave about twice a year.

And before anyone asks: Yes, Asian.

I alternate between Edge and Barbosol. I can't decide which I prefer.

Damn, that's a good deal. Gonna check my local walmart this afternoon. I'm almost out of shaving gel, and my mach3 razor is...well....should have been replaced a long time ago.

i use the fusion razor myself i prefer it over the mach 3 though i've used the mach 3 a lot back in the day

for those who use the shave secret ..how long does the bottle last? I see amazon sells a 18.75 ML bottle for 3.99 and it says just to use a few drops per shave.

I can try hair conditioner never tried that before. Right now Barbasol is working better I feel than the edge gel i had before (i had the regular edge gel not the different types)

i may just buy a bottle of the shave secret..if 3.99 is too pricey let me know where you may have found it cheaper...I have a Prime account on amazon so I wouldnt be charged shipping on it

I use The Art Of Shaving Cream. Note: you need a brush and mug to do this.

Lathers extremely well, never get razor bumps anymore.

On mornings when I'm rushed, Nivea makes a solid shaving gel so i recommend that too.

I use a shaving soap and brush. I buy a cheap bar from Wal-Mart. It works good, and I love the fact that it doesn't smell chemical.

I like Barbosol as well. I used to use Edge Shaving Gel, but had to use my dads Barbsol one time when I ran out of Edge. Been using with Barbosol ever since. I use it for the reasons TYY listed above.
