I just had a Ryan Newman shirt signed at a Walmart in Humble, and I was wondering if the autograph would come off if I washed it.

If it was signed in Sharpie, I doubt it, but I wouldn't try washing it too much just to be safe. The shirt is prolly better hangin on your wall anyway! :D

Meg, did you get a signature while Ryan was in town? I hardly knew of it before today, or I would have posted it for you.

    Thanks for the info, though.

My daughter got a shirt signed by alot of people in a show she was at. She has washed in numerous times and it faded slightly but it stayed.

Do a practice wash with a sharpie first. Then you'll know. You could also try oxy clean. I think that will only take out organic stuff.

when I was doing security at work with a green sharpie I later found I had marked all over my shirt.

9 months later those marks are still on that shirt.
