From the homepage of ESPN.com "Kobe Bryant is asked to turn down his game. Instead he cranks it up. He's asked to share the ball with Shaq and the spotlight with Phil. He says "I'd be better off playing someplace else." His teammates say Kobe won't change and everyone better get used to it. " So my question is....with a Ball Hogg like Kobe in L.A., do you think Shaq would want to go somewhere else like Houston to be the Center of attention? ------------------
Excuse me while i go drown myself in the toilet after reading this post. if i survive, i eventually should recover from the shock and post again. until then... ------------------ "I have posted so much that what I say must be true"

How exactly will Shaq come to Houston RRN? he's signed long term with LA and who in hell would we give them for him??? Shaq is the LAST player on earth I'de expect to be a Rocket. and according to the story you mentioned, Kobe might be the one to leave LA, not Shaq. ------------------ Dream Rejects Every Attempt Made
Shaq a Rocket........ Hmmmmmmm......... Uhhhhhhh......... HAHAHAHA!!! well...maybe, maybe no ------------------ Blazing to the Title!
Here I come to kill this thread ------------------ "Its a good thing they don't make posters of European players" -Walt Williams after getting "posterized" by Zan Tabak .
I'm not spreading any rumors....I'm asking what are the thoughts if any? I'm not saying he will be or the Rockets are talking about Shaq. I'm merely suggesting. Besides...he admires the Dream! C'mon...seriously...you can't deny that you would take him if the Rockets could get him. ------------------
Look, let me be the one to kill this thread by starting a rant on how Cuttino Mobley is a complete idiot. God this guy is a moron. First of all... ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."

Rich, I think most people would take Shaq in a heartbeat. For those of you who don't know, Rich is a long time poster here. Show some respect. DaDakota ------------------ If Mankind evolved from Monkeys and Apes, then why are there still Monkeys and apes?
Thanks DaDakota- That's why I don't post as much as before. All I am asking is what do you think of the thought of bringing in Shaq in. I know it is 99.9% impossible it would happen. Then again, this organization has surprised the hell out of us MANY MANY TIMES. One thing FOR SURE...I think what you are going to see is the downfall of the Lakers. The Playoffs is going to be Doomsday for KOBE and SHAQ fighting for the ball. Maybe it won't be such a deal for Shaq to leave L.A. for greener pastures one day. Who do you think the Lakers would dump if both people(Kobe and Shaq) forced them to trade? I think Shaq would leave before Kobe would. Anyways, sorry for posting. I'll just go back to my BBS reclusion. I do visit the site several times a day without really posting. ------------------
I agree, show some respect to the former Htown DJ. Ain't no problem with this topic Rich. As for my thoughts on shaq, I'd be ecstatic to have him here. He does live in Houston, and would continue the Dream (who by the way is Shaq's most admired center)legacy. I'd give anyone but Steve for shaq. And I think a Steve-Shaq duo would be more fun, and more cooperative than a Kobe-Shaq duo.
