    ...I'm still blown away by the fact that Wilt led the league in assists in '67-'68.

    I have not seen Wilt and Russel play so I will not make a judgement on them. Wilt had some insane numbers but numbers were inflated back then. I am sure he would have incredible numbers if he were to play today but I am also sure it wouldn't be anywhere close to what he had back then. Based on what I have read, Bill was great defensively but he wasnt exactly ighting it up on offense.

    Kareem, too, had great numbers but unfortunately I only watched the tail end of his career.

    The two great center career's I have followed are Hakeem and Shaq (both on the list of my all-time favorite players). Based on what I have seen Hakeem was better.

    There are only two players I have seen in last 25+ years of watching the NBA that I can claim were complete on both ends of the court and without any glaring weaknesses which opponents could exploit in a series...

    Jordan and Hakeem.
