Not a chance it was age that brought him from all NBA 3rd team to where he is now. He was brought in just to guard dwight, and was giving a "roger clemens" treatment throughout the season. Playing just when he felt like it. His thumb injury was a freak injury and not a wear and tear. In a league getting smaller and smaller he is being a liability on defense, but i would still love to see the big fella get another ring.
