He needs to assert himself a whole lot more like he did in the Bucks game and towards the end of last season. He can be the most quietly effective defending sg in the league, but he doesn't look for his scoring often enough. If you could forge the basketball skills and mentalities of Cuttino and Shandon you would have something close to MJ. But instead we have the most promising and versatile gaurds in the league.
