I typed in my zip code 78705 which is the UT area non official business zip code.

I clicked on some names expecting to find DOB's from the mid to late 70's (since this is a college area) but was kinda surprised to find 50's and 60's. Scary.

I'm not standing up for the criminals, but does anyone think this violates their right to privacy ?

Personally, I think that once you commit a crime, you should lose your rights (definately while you're in prison-I mean, they still get like TV's and stuff-in some cases at least). If you want the freedoms, then you follow the laws

I don't really care about their rights. The safety of our children is much more important. The problem with a sexual predator is that sooner or later they strike again. As I was looking through the list ,in my area, I was shocked at how light most of the sentences were and how young some of the victims were.I think they should all be castrated.

The criminals took away the "rights" from children or whoever, so they at the very least deserve to get rights taken away from them.

Hell, put them on the electric chair, I really have no use or remorse for these sexual offender clowns.

Wow, I didn't expect y'all to be so hard on them. I'm not sure what to say, but I do agree!

I checked my street (as in my home address, because I would hate to see what it might look like at U of H). I guess I have lived a sheltered life. There weren't any sexual offenders on my street and only a handful in my entire zip code. I'm not surpirsed about my street. It's full of grandparents and golfers. But my neighborhood itself isn't exactly perfect. I expected more. Oh well. Feel free to rag on me for it! :)

Man, I did a couple quick searches at my old neighborhood, and I was best friends with a guy that was found guilty of "AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT CHILD" of a 9 year old boy...

I also played little league baseball with another guy that was guilty of "INDECENCY W/CHILD SEXUAL CONTACT" of an 8 year old girl...

    Bummer...

I guess he progressed to be a little league coach?

    Sorry for the tasteless joke.

I remember looking this up a couple years ago. Last I checked, appx 1/3 of them were statutory rape. In this case, I do believe its a violation of the privacy. I also don't believe this is a rape case either.

Anyone that forces themselves upon children(or anyone else). is just .... unspeakable. I agree this information should be public.

But sadly with rape cases, you are guilty till proven innocent.
