yeah seriously? How can a guy not want sex if it has been a year? like i said he must have been getting it from somewhere else.. and for this girl, i agree she is completely selfish and they are not married yet. i'm just waiting until he leaves her. no way a guy will stay with a girl like that.
I think it’s interesting that everyone automatically jumped to the conclusion a guy would no doubt cheat or already cheating in a sexless relationship. And, if he doesn’t cheat and puts up with/deals with that type of relationship, I get the impression every one would instantly think something is INSANELY wrong with him.
These women read these dumb magazines written by women and gay men and expect them to know how to please a man. Most of the friends I know that cheat or have affairs do it because they aren't getting enough at home. Most of the time the women they are cheating with are not even as attractive! Women: I you don't want your man to cheat on you, then make sure his fuel tank is empty. Even if he doesn't say he wants it, make sure you let him know you want sex and him. Many men won't say that they need or want it, because much of men's desires stem in being wanted by the woman. Don't make it sound like a favor or that you're doing it for them.
[TMI] When the wife and I were engaged, our premarital counselor told her that part of her job was to send me to work every day totally exhausted from having too much sex. This deserves its own thread!!!! but for now, you have to tell us the story...don't be almu... of course he would and i would venture to say so would most women...sx is needed to function in everyday life...well, at least for me...but thats off topic... I'm not saying its right, but to start a relationship and then abstain is ridiculous and just asks for trouble...no way either person can be happy w/o it...w/o it, we're just grouchy and rude...
I actually had something happen to a friend of mine recently like this. He always complained about never having sex. She bragged about not having sex much like the women in these article. As it turns out, she was having an affair with another woman.
This speaks more to the personal and moral integrity of the spouse and I agree that love and fidelity should overrule infidelity. That said, it does not excuse a spouse from failing to provide some sort of sexually gratifying outlet on a semi-regular basis.
I've been multiple years without having sex(Not currently, and not married at the time). It never really bothered me. I think he could avoid cheating. I'd have a bigger problem with her not wanting to have sex with me than I would be about the lack of sex. It would make me feel "inadequate" and not attractive enough for her.
It is not okay for a spouse to cheat if he/she is not getting some...they just need to work on that issue and if it cant be worked out then it is the best to end the relationship.
Completely sexless? No. Sparsely populated with dashes of the dirty here and there yeah. If it's completely sexless, you are nothing more than roommates. I'm not "old," but I'm older and my sex drive is way lower than it used to be fore sure. I still want some action now and again. So completely sexless, one may not stray, but they will sure find a way to replace what they aren't getting one way or another. Doesn't necessarily mean cheating though.
The only way I can see a man staying in a relationship without sex is if they are waiting to get married. But to not have sex if you are married does not work. It has nothing to do with the man's morals or loyalty either. It's the simple fact that men need sex. Anyone disagreeing with that is either a delusional person or a robot. And if your the robot then I'm sorry. You will never know the joy of this.... Spoiler
Some of the time. Part of it might be I didn't enjoy sex before my wife. Now I get so busy some times that sex doesn't cross my mind often.
In before the "I am the Wilt Chamberlain of secks" posts. In before the "I am the A.C. Green of secks" posts. Oh, yeah. I think SO. In fact, I say to her: "here's some fudge... and some hershey's kisses...!" Damn. What an irony... they were both L.A. Fakers. No, I'm not.
