Has anybody seen Jerry Seinfeld perform stand up? I got tickets to his show in San Antonio on friday night.
Nash, Go rent "comedian". It is a documentary about him coming up with all new material (he ditched all his old material after the end of the sitcom). I enjoyed his new stuff and found it to be clever. Seriously though, rent the documentary. It is very good and gives you an insight into the somewhat struggling side of every comedian.
The advice Jerry gives Orny about Duke Ellington's band members is some of the best advice in life. I have seen Jerry live and he is of course as good a live comedian as you will find these days. No RP but very good, and clean if you got a good girl.
"I'm Telling You for the Last Time" is the funniest hour of stand-up I've ever heard, and I was brought up on Eddie Murphy's "Delirious."
Jerry's on tour? What the?? Comedian rules btw... I'm a big Jerry fan and I love that documentary... That Orny guy needs a lot of flippin' valium... "Looks so natural.... no one can tell...."
Codell....thanks for advice, i picked it up after work at Blockbuster and just finished it......it was very good. That Orny guy is a basket case.
Didn't want to start a new thread, but my favorite Seinfeld episode will be airing on TBS at 6:00. The Burning "If I'm going to hell, you should care that I'm going to hell" "It's gonna be rough"
Naps is good, man, cause it means you getting sleep. This is what I'm told... ...and I'm on vacation...so no.
