I play those ALOT and recently its like, I play 12 minute quaters and around halftime, the game shuts off. It goes back to the screen it would be on if you inserted a music Cd into the system. The thing is, Im not sure its the game, because the system does it on other games as well, but not as often. FOr instance, I can play Tennis2k2 for 4 hours before it happens but on NBA2k2 I can play it 25 minutes before it happens. Whats the problem? I wanna fix it bad. I LOVE THAT GAME. PS, anyone selling their DReamcast? :)

Sounds like it's the system if it happens to your other games. My NBA2k used to freeze up and the system would make these weird noises.

Ahh...how I miss the glory days of the DC...I'm having the urge to pop in Shenmue now.

lol, Im flattered. It's going ok. Hasn't given me any problems besides the windows are off track. When I go over a huge bump they fall down. Just got to pull them back up. Other then that, its ok. Oh, and I don't have any ABS at all, which is the cause of my ABS light coming on, and that is the cause of my Check Engine light coming on. All in all, I made a good deal. (Knock on wood!)

Austin, until the 16th, then I'm in Houston for a week. I'd like $45 for the dreamcast, 2 controllers and a memory thing.

Hahaha I was about to post that, but actually the Dreamcast was a great system. It had a lot of great games but it was a Sega and not Nintendo or Sony so it didn't have a shot. But cmon now:

    Soul Calibur
    Sonic Adventure
    Resident Evil Code Veronica
    House of the Dead
    Crazy Taxi

Back in 2000, that system was the good stuff. I never owned a Sega before that system, and sadly I never will again. Eh, they're still making games so it's not so bad. I'm glad I'm not half the gamer I used to be because as a Nintendo fan, I'd be devastated. Nintendo has no CLUE what it's doing. Their connectivity plan is a JOKE. NO online gaming. Sheesh what has-beens.

Ya, mine had a nice little run for about 8 months then just died a few days ago. It wont start, the radio and lights are still on, but the car just wont start... This is what happens when you dont test drive the car, but hey for 400 dollars and a few repairs. I aint complaining.

Please Lord forgive me, for I have forgotten to mention the 2K series. A fate awaits me which must be worser than hell.

Anything 2K was solid gold diamond platinum money money platinum. Back then I'd even take NFL 2K2 over Madden. And I did for 2 years in a row.

I never owned a Sega system. And what I said in my last post....well it was a joke.

I was a big nintendo fan myself. I loved how everything connected, like you could play of Game Boy on the tv via th N64 etc. BUT, I went with Sony and bought a PS2 instead of the cube. I am not quite the gamer I used to be....but I still like to play. I haven't played by PS2 much in the last 6 months or so. I started to play computer games once again after dumping my laptop and buying a real desktop. So addicted to BFV.

While we are on the subject, no matter how many orcs I kill on Ultima III on my C-64 I can't seem to find where they come from.

    Anyone know?

Yeah, besides Madden and NBA Live, all I play is old school computer adventure games. I'm talkin King's Quest, Kyrandia, Loom, Space Quest, etc. Those games were the most fun I ever had playing. Too bad they screwed them up royally when everything went 3-D. SNES Final Fantasy's come close as far as fun factor but I just can't get into the new ones. They're all stylized like an anime.

Anyone who liked King's Quest should check out

A few hardcore fan's remade King's Quest 1 and 2 into VGA games (think KQ5 graphics) and recorded voices and everything. Very quality for an independent project. They even got the voice of Graham from 5 to record. They also are in the process of remaking Quest for Glory 2 I think.

Yeah, I never played through that one. Looks like I got some e-bayin to do...

Adventure games are so chill. No one ever got an epileptic seizure because of them.
