There seems to be a concensus that this is a deep draft. Seems like the Rockets might shed one or more of their Round One picks BEFORE or DURING the draft.

It seems likely that they would pick up at least one early pick in Roung Two. Here are 4 of my favorites in order of preference. Who do you all like in these spots?

    1. Terrence Morris (if he slips)
    2. Brian Scalabrine
    3. Cisse (we can afford one project, right?)
    4. Michael Wright (from AZ-- will surprise)

    Rich...

How about Gregory? I know his FS problems, but, to me, he's the kind of player who could just go 'click', as foul shooting a lower % than 3-pt shooting indicates the problem's a confidence one, and can be , er, un-taught, if you know what I mean...

Unfortunately, at this juncture we don't have any second round picks. That stated, my favorite for a loooow second pick was Keith Bogans. However, he showed common sense and went back to school for much needed development.

If by chance Gearld Wallace falls into the 2nd round, he would be the steal of the draft.

I'm not sure about Wright. He's very tough and active inside, but he doesn't seem to have a pro position. He's too small to be a PF, and doesn't have the ball skills to play SF.
One player I think has a chance to be a major sleeper is Mo Evans from UT. I saw him play a lot this year, and he has the best physique of any college wingman I've ever seen. For a team that misses out on Richard Jefferson, I think he would be worth a second-rounder.

Wright was worked out by the Rockets and my recollection was that they were surprised by his versatility (including his shot range.) He played on a very talented squad and seems to have just been doing what was asked of him.

From everything I've read Cisse would like great in Rocket gear.
