The Seattle guards are going to be scratching their heads this off season. A team that had a fairly good 1st round pick(12) and desperately needs front court help simply ignored the obvious and went with another 3. They had that position filled for years with R. Lewis. Some could argue that Vladmir was just too tempting to pass up, but you still have to wonder why their other two picks were also guards (Earl Watson and Bobby Simmons). Especially with the horrible play they witnessed all season in Patrick and Vin. But it's not all bad. Well not if you're a Rocket's fan. They have some pretty good FA in Ruben Patterson and Emanuel Davis. I know Patterson would look nice in pinstripes. Vernon Maxwell also played in Seattle but I don't think Rudy would sign him. Who could blame him. They could have something in the works involving swaping Payton to a willing team, and that would only motivate Patterson or E-mail to come here. And they would fit in very nicely. ------------------
