when sean was traded to rockets and he failed his physical what was the reason he failed his physical? just curious because if it had anything to do with kidney?

one more quick thing as a fan do you think the rockets should have been given money to sign a player when barkley went down? the spurs were given money to sign a player and now elliott is allowed to come back. if the spurs win the championship is should defainately be tainted since they had an unfair advantage. the rockets were interested in samaki walker but the spurs signed him with the extra money they were given. anyway thanks for the time i was just curious why elliot failed rockets physical

Yep....it was some sort of kidney thing that nixed the trade. Makes me wonder how things would have been different if the trade had gone down.

I think the Rockets should have been given some sort of exception due to Barkley's injury. I don't know if they even lobbied for it though. As far as Elliot and the Spurs go....who actually thought he was gonna make it back...except Elliot himself.

Evil Stern wouldn't dare try and stop him from rejoining the team though for that reason. The NBA with it's declining popularity is eating up the PR they're getting from it. Another question that also comes to mind is whether he should be eligible for the playoffs.

ok thats what i thought. there is no way sean should be eligible for playoffs. Ok he failed the kidney thing so didn't go to houston that year which means all along the spurs knew he had a kidney problem when they signed him right? the spurs knew he had a kidney problem so they knew their was a high risk of this happening when they got him so they shouldn't be rewarded with a player exemption thing or whatever they got. all i'm saying is when your on the injured list you have to have to have to stay out at least 5 games. when your signed after march 1st you can't be in playoffs. so all i'm saying is first of all even if he is no longer injured when they signed samaki that should have meant that no matter what he can't return the rest of the year and since he joined the team after march he shouldnt' play in playoffs even though he was still signed by them theyi were able to use his money somewhere else so it should be treated like they just signed him. either samaki should be out of playoffs or something
