I hate to admit it but I was impressed by him in the 1st half (I had to get to sleep at halftime). As much as I hate him, he finally showed up and played hard on the offensive side of the ball. His defensive is good, but it is easy to make plays when you're playing free safety, always running towards the ball.
I still think the Lakers are in control but that was the guy we though we were signing last year.

I was even more proud of Scottie after the game. Phil Jackass made some quote that "You know you shouldn't have been out there" because of the forearm Pippen through to John Salley. Pippen's response: F___ you, Phil! That's what I liked as much as the game. Somebody finally had the nerve to tell Phil off like he deserves.

In the game, Pippen was unbelievable. That is who we wanted last year. All over the defensive end, making the big shots, and being a leader. I said before the game that this would be one of those career defining games for Scottie. Honestly I believe that Portland is a more talented team than LA, and I hope they believe that as well. But, with the whole world against Portland and saying how the Fakers would cakewalk to the Finals, it was up to Pippen to get his team's morale up enough to stare death in the face and come out of the Staples Center alive. They did just that. Even if you still hate Scottie, you have to admit that was a big time clutch performance. With this game, I think the Blazers are in control, even though they're down 3-2. They will not be eliminated in front of their home crowd. I know they lost their last two games, but this time will be different. The Lakers are rattled. Portland will come out with a ton of fire after Game 5. This series will go to Game 7, and with Portland's experience, ability to win on the road, and clutch play, I like their chances. Blazers in seven!!

Cat, you are under estimating the power of NBC. [IMG]

Seriously, I think LA will win in 7. Although I hate Quitten, I have to admit that he's been playing awfully well. I don't think MJ2 and Rice will have 2 more horrid shooting games.
