Pippen took Ho Grant and BJ Armstrong to the second round.

    Pippen > McGrady

Never good to start a thread off with a blatant lie.

Pippen was an all-world defender plus a facilitator w/ the ability to score if need be. T-mac never tried on D. He was also a glorified volume shooter rather than getting his O in the flow of the game.

Most offensively dominant players control the flow of the game. Especially SG.

LeBron, Kobe, Wade, Jordan. They all created offense.

Putting Pippen and McGrady on the same sentence like the OP did is a disgrace and a sacrilege to the sport. It is also total disrespect for all the great players who gave everything they had to make NBA basketball what it is today. This is a senseless comparison and should be closed.

Anyone see Mike Tyson on WWE RAW? He looked really happy out there being with his kid in the ring. It was nice to see the big guy have some fun again.

That was more of a Phil Jackson or team thing then Pippen leading anybody.

Seriously, based off individual talents (especially looking at Pippen's success without Jordan) or contributions to the Houston Rockets organization, it is a healthy McGrady all day.

Based on career and legacy, obviously it is Pippen due to being one of the greatest players in NBA's history sidekick.

Pippen got past the first round without Jordan.

As far as being a Rocket, Pippen is still more hated for causing damage to the organization by forcing a trade.

Pippen got his rings, Tracy got a bunch of excuses.

But as far as deranged fans, Tracy wins by a land slide. Look at the All Star game votes.

I hate Scottie Pippen. I hate Tracy McGrady.

Pippen led a team that had lost Michael Jordan out of the first round of the playoffs.

For all of his very pretty stats and his very nice box scores in December, Tracy McGrady has never even come close to seeing the second round of the playoffs.

So thank you very much for making me suggest that Scottie Pippen was actually a player worth something.

I hope they ban you you idiot!

Gotta' understand Scottie Pippen had a healthy Michael Jordan all those years. While TMac, never really had another healthy superstar alongside with him in the Playoffs...Only in 2005 vs. Mavs..but then yet..they had Ryan Bowen starting at Power Forward gaurding D. Nowitzki...So it comes to say..would you think Michael Jordan would really win all those Championships without Scottie Pippen...

TMac just happens to be in the wrong situations at most times, which leads to alot of critisms against him.
