You meant the exhibition games in the summer? lmao

The ones where no one went 100%?

Basquet Girona was bottom of their standings this season, the others teams he played are in second/third tier leagues.

36ers didn't even play their starters.

I know man lol. I’ll come around as the draft gets closer. I’m leaning Amen right now

As everyone probably knows by now, I like Amen Thompson as a prospect. But I don't view him in the same tier as Scoot Henderson. I see Scoot as a future All-NBA player and a pretty good bet to get to there, and his floor is already probably a better player than KPJ.

I would pay quite a lot in terms of future assets to move up and get him.

I'd absolutely offer #2 or #3 to get Henderson...

#4, Porter, Martin and a future 1st. As far as return is concerned, that's pretty damned decent for only a couple spots on 2 teams who's best player is a point guard.

Remember last year, Orlando’s GM finally start watching Pablo and said this guy is more talented than Jabari….do not believe the media hype

True--you never know when something is a media ploy. However, I will say this: If there's any organization I'd believe would be foolish enough to take Miller over Scoot, it's Charlotte. Their front office seems dumber than a sack of bricks.

Donovan Mitchell is listed as 6'1" and he's playing SG. Just saying.

Yeah, I think LaMelo and Scoot could play together as long as LaMelo is okay with sliding over and playing off the ball a bit more (open question, he seems like he might be a diva).

Mitchell is not the same type of player as Scoot though. Scoot is definitely a primary ballhandler type, he is not a guy you want to play off the ball. It would have to be LaMelo doing that and maybe stagger their minutes so they both get some time as the primary.

Miller is an easier fit for them, but a clear step below Scoot on talent level IMO.

If you’re happy with 40% (30% from 3), then sure.

It's so hard to evaluate Amen. He's super intriguing, but a complete wildcard to me. As a fan, he is who you believe you want him to be, it seems. Obviously Rockets will get way more data on him as they interview, workout, scout, etc. So I'll trust their evaluation...

Parts of me thinks his upside could be a better defensive Clyde Drexler type player without the jumper (huge deal) or an athletic version of Draymond with less defensive bball IQ (compliment to Draymond who has ELITE bball IQ) who finishes better around the rim. But, I just haven't seen 1 single game from him so I have a hard time assessing him. His highlights looks insane...

Scoot on the other hand I love almost everything about him and the things I am hopeful he will improve on I have strong indications that he'll improve on (3 point shot). Been watching him for 2 years now, followed his interviews and story, watched a bunch of games of his and believe he'll be a multi-year all star starter and one of the leaders of this team.

If the Blazers trade 3 it's to move out of the draft not down. They want KAT or Randle or Siakam or something like that for it, not another pick.

I hate Amen for his 50% free throw shooting and 20% three point shooting against high school talent. Not even top 30 high school prospect per ESPN.

didn’t know those games people keep touting as Amen’s “good competition” were just summer exhibition games and the 36ers didn’t even play their starters

    with context like that, yikes

i would love to trade up for a chance to get scoot henderson... but if we're doing that.. why not just build a package to trade for lamelo ball instead? i would imagine it would probably take a bit more to pry lamelo away (if it's even possible at all), but the rockets would instantly be a lot more fun to watch.

Amen is the choice, I'm dying on that hill and that's the bottom line.

I think Ausar is the more naturally talented shooters and defender of the two

It'll cost too much to move up. Forget about it. Again, let someone overpay US for Amen@4....drop back a couple of spots, and take Walker.
