Does anyone know his chances of winning this? With the current 12-game winning streak....which started when he was inserted into the starting line-up, he should be right up there. Even JVG said in one of the games he did that Scola should win it over Durant. Durant is a volume shooter with a very bad shooting percentage.....I hope they really take into account the difference Scola has made on a legitimate playoff team.
For a second I thought this was a trade thread and I was confused. However no chance they're not gonna give it to the sucky Durant. I hate that kid with a passion. He's my new Lerbon. I hate him.
Actually, I think Al Horford should be rookie of the year. He has had a great year, epcially defensively
Durant has it on lock down Even though he is not that good he will win simply so the media does not have to admit that they overhyped him.
Scola is cold, I would take him over Durant any day. Saying that he has no chance Durant will probaly win, Horford has a chance though, especialy if they make the playoffs.
like many here i would vote for horford, and i think that when atlanta makes the playoffs many voters will take that into consideration. since seattle isn't doing anything except jumping town, i wouldn't say it's a lock to be durant. in all likelyhood it will be, but just maybe... scola has no chance, but i'd say he could come in as high as third in voting. the only other fringe rookies to consider are probably sean williams, jamario moon and jc navarro. i'd say scola has an edge on those.
Which rookie's team has the highest win ratio? Which rookie is actually contributing to a team to could go all the way? Scola is my rookie of the year. However, from day 1, the award was going to Kevin Durant. I don't see how that's going to change.
Durrant sucks~ Even Head, Brooks, Novak could score 20ppg in their rookie season if he's given the permission to make 20+ attempts per game. Durrant is overated. Period.
