Ok, so I saw the steak thread and it got me craving some good food. I absolutely LOVE scallops. They may be my favorite food ever. What are your favorite recipes for them?
    Mine is seafood fried rice.

    Ingredients:
    fried rice:
    1 cup rice
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 eggs
    1 scallion (green onion), chopped
    1 tsp salt
    black pepper to taste
    seafood:
    2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup scallops (I usually use the small Chinese scallops instead of the big sea scallops)
    1-2 green chili peppers, minced
1/2 cup shrimp, peeled and cut in half
    2 tsp soy sauce

Fresh rice is okay, but old rice is better - let it cool down and sit in the fridge overnight. Old rice doesn't absorb as much oil and doesn't leave the frying pan a mess after you're done (trust me).

Mix the shrimp, scallops, peppers, and soy sauce together in a bowl. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then stir fry the mixture in a frying pan with garlic. remove from heat when the shrimp is pink. Set it aside.

Beat the eggs in a bowl and stir in the salt and scallions.
Make sure the rice in the steamer isn't clumping together (just use a spatula or something to poke at it until there aren't any huge clumps). Heat vegetable oil in the skillet, then add the garlic and rice. Pour the egg mixture over it and keep turn the rice until the egg is cooked through on all the rice.
    Remove from heat.

Serve by pouring the seafood stir-fry over the fried rice. MMMM.

If you like scallops that much I'm sure there's other ways to enjoy it besides scallops in fried rice. I like bacon wrapped scallops Mmm D-Lish!

I've had it before and it's okay...I don't really like bacon that much though. I do like stuffed mushrooms with them.

    Bacon-wrapped in anything is good.

Just give me scallops sauteed in white wine with a little garlic and onions and I'll be fine.
