almost as cute as when you try to post serious replies. but not quite as cute as when you and MAnny gangup on them bad ole christian haters.
I believe I voted "sate" because when I read it in Spanish, it sounds like I am telling my cat to get out of the house... "Salte, Cosby! Salte!!!"
This is one of my biggest pet peeves is when people use this word. I don't know where the hell it came from, but it bothers me mercilessly. Anyway, I always say "sate." "Satiate" just sounds too labored to me. Sort of on the subject, my mentor at my job is 76 years old and he has this terrible tendency to say "pathetical". Normally, with something like that, I just have to comment on it. But I kind of figured at 76, you deserve a little slack so I haven't corrected him yet. But man, every time he says it I grit my teeth. Also, I told my wife how much I dislike it, so now she says it every once in a while just to mess with me.
I know several people that hate the term Converse. I use it to bother folx but rarely in real conversation Rocket River
