Just wanted to grunt at the fact that Mussina is taking on Pedro for a third straight time. That's a bunch of crud. I don't even stand a chance when that stuff keeps happening. You'all are scoring like 200 a week and I can't even break 150 cause of this kinda stuff.

Bob and I certainly have a nailbiter of a game going.

It's 168-164 in my favor, but both of us have plenty of players still going.

Bob's going down! Bob's going down! Word up yo in the hizzowze.

fade- Milton just won, which gives me a 174-171 advantage. You still have Mcguire tonight (if he plays)

    Oh man.. 181-178 for Bob.

It's all up to Big Mac now.

Although, you do still have Veres going.

So the ideal situation would be for McGwire to hit a couple of homers, but the Cards still lose.

I don't see that happening. Good match this week Bob.

Phi- Colon's injury doesn't sound good:

During Sunday's Yankees-Indians telecast, it was reported that Colon returned to Cleveland to have his right elbow examined. "I'm worried about it because in the minor leagues when I had this pain, I was out for the rest of the year," he told the Associated Press.

Uh oh! No big deal actually, I was getting close to benching him anyway. I guess it's time to take a look at Prokopec or Buerhle. Both have been hot as of late and Buerhle looks to to be coming on strong with K's. Burba is my last resort.

You could always try to make a deal for Burkett, Smoltz, Burnett, Moyer or Ponson. [IMG]

That Alou feller would sure look nice back in a Spos uniform.

    Bartolo Colon's Pitching Elbow OK

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - An MRI revealed no damage to the pitching elbow of Cleveland Indians right-hander Bartolo Colon.

Colon reported soreness in the elbow after five innings of Saturday's start against the New York Yankees and returned to Cleveland for an examination.

Indians manager Charlie Manuel said Monday that Colon will throw on the side Tuesday and could make his regularly scheduled start Thursday against the Minnesota Twins. Manuel said he had feared the injury might be far more serious.

The result of an MRI on left-hander Chuck Finley was also negative.

Finley has inflammation in his neck but was told he should be fine with about 10 days of rest. Finley was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Saturday.
