Spurs have some decisions to make.

If they do get Karl(a) and if they were 'anxious' to lose Rose earlier, then what will they do with him with Malone?

I think he'd be a good addition to Rox roster (I believe Mo - DAnderson is doable).

    ---

Is BBarry in SA's plans? The brothers would make an interesting pairing. Will BB last the year there?

(Would it take part of the MLE to resign JBarry in off season, or is he (re)signable without having to use it?

Not sure if the Rockets will resign Jon Barry, but if we do, it shouldn't cost us the MLE.

many questions, few answers. Jon Barry is making the vet minimum or there abouts and that is what he is worth. I don't see SA doing a deal during this season.

SA (PoP) would love to get rid of Malik, even if Malone decides to Retire, But Rose has a Heavy contract, if I'm not mistaken. The Admiral really rubbed off on Malik, I've met them both, and they are Mild Mannered, Christians. Before I get flamed I'm not saying thats wrong, it just can be detrimental to winning sometimes in a League that has so many Bad Boys in it. I will never forget Hakeem schooling the MVP Robinson in the playoffs that year...Man that was sweet, of course I had to buy the picture off EBay.

To get another 4 one has to go. Any other options to move Mo? But, might make some sense in Portland.

MR would be a good 4 off the bench IMO. Def not a starter, but good energy, tenacious. Too big a contract tho. But could be a good p/u in right situ IMO.

Malik, I believe, has the same contract as Cato, 6 years 42 million dollars.

    Exactly right RocksMillenium-

Rose contract signed 7-25-02 is 6 yr ----42 mil with the player option in the 7th year. Born 11-23-74, 6' 7" and 245#. He is old and overpaid - similar to Spoon, but has a lot of heart.

We have nearly 20 mil per season invested in the #4 spot - power forward. I wish like many here we could unload some of those salaries before taking on more...

malik is one of my favorite players(roleplayers) i would love to have him on the rockets. but i think his contract is a bit high. but if we could trade him for Howard or taylor i wouldn't mind(i do not see that happening, and i do not know how the contracts are so if it is even possible).
