Am I the only one who thinks this show is awesome? I'm not a kid anymore but I look for things to appreciate. This show is unique and clever compared to the teeny bopper things that come out these days. I also think "The Spectacular Spider-Man" is pretty good. The story and action scenes are nice. This is coming from a person who thinks a lot of cartoons these days are garbage. Ben 10 is crap. Legion of Superheroes is crap. Fantastic Four is crap. All that anime crap is crap. TV needs more shows like Samurai Jack and Spectacular Spider-man...
My daughters love Samurai Jack, The episode where he fights the guy with the kilt on the bridge is hilarious.
So when and where does it come on? I watch Cartoon Network fairly regularly and haven't seen anything about its return....

^ My daughters play this one FLASH game with this here hilarious guy. There's levels of difficulty where you have to repeat what he says into a microphone. It's hilarious. I was cracking up for about 3 hours straight when they got to about 85th level. The guy says "CheesseeeeEeeEEEEE" and "I want CARROTS!" constantly, and it's hilarious. I have notwatched Samurai Jack since it premiered about 5 or 6 years ago on cartoon network. I enjoy watching the episodes with the Kilt guy and his wife the most. They are some realy well-made cartoons.
Wow, didn't Samaurai Jack stop airing like 4-5 years ago (or stopped making new epps at least)? Phil Lamarr was great on that show (as usual) as the voice of Jack. My favorite toon right now would definitely have to be Spectacular Spider-Man. This show is great, and its lead writer, Greg Weisman is doing an exceptional job keeping up such a tight and fluid continuity between all of the shows episode arcs. His execution here rivals the work he did on his old show, "Gargoyles." Also love the way that it keeps up the spirit of the old Lee-Ditiko/Romita comics by not creating any characters that didn't first appear appear in their issues, and also staying true to the original theme of Spider-Man really being about a bunch of teens hanging out, and one of them happens to be a superhero. I mean, a lot of the parts featuring Pete, Liz, Flash, Gwen, Mary Jane, Harry, Sally, Rand, and the others hanging out are just as interesting as a Spidey vs. Sinister Six fight. That is impressive. Besides that show, there really no other American animated shows that I'm really into (which is odd for me. I LOVE cartoons). I guess with "Avatar: the last Airbender's" run ending and the end of the DC Animated Universe, it's just hard to get used to the lack of depth and continuity in most animated shows now (like the aforementioned terrible "Ben: 10"). I guess that's why I've turned more to anime recently and shows like "Bleach" and "Ghost in the Shell: SAC". After putting it off for a while, I've finally gotten into Code Geass too. it's not bad. Not quite as epic os other animes of it's genre like say, Eureka 7, but still pretty damn good overall.
Why Ya'll dumping on Ben 10 I like Ben 10 better than Ben 10 Alien Force [since they basically changed up all the characters powers] I like Naruto [Gargoyles was one of the best cartoons of all time] I recently started Checking out Wolverine and the X-men which is better than I thought but still .. .the change in Wolverine's characterization is annoying [basically he and Cyclops have changed personalities] Rocket River
Ben 10 is bad to me because I know the work it's head writer Dwayne McDuffie did on Static and JLU. It's like he totally mailed it in on that show. I can see where others would like it, though. To me it's on the level of Teen Titans and Legion of Super Heroes; decent eye candy, but not a lot of depth. Wolverine and the X-Men had a lot of potential, but it's just missing...something, and it's really obvious. I think the disingenuious switching of Wolverine and Cyclops did a LOT for Cyclops, but nothing for the show's main character, Wolverine. It made him, and thus the show, a bit boring and formulaic. Plus the lack of REAL continuing arcs and character development kinda hurt too. The show isn't terrible and can probably improve quite a bit in its second season, but for now it's a bit underwhelming. BTW, all of Wolverine and the X-Men's 1st season and Spectacular Spider-man's second season have already aired overseas (former in the UK and latter in Australia) so you can find the full season torrents if you search for them.
I was about to say that I'm a little ashamed I still watch cartoons, but Rocket River is older than me, so forget that. Samurai Jack was awesome, well deserving of those Emmys, but I haven't seen it in forever. They don't even play it on Boomerang. According to the wiki, the show was on Toonami last year (I think toonami was during drive time and prime time hours). I've seen enough eps of Ben 10 and the newer one where they are teens to know what the show is about. I think it's good. It's nice to have more american made shows for kids to watch. I've heard of Wolverine and the X-Men, but I haven't seen a single ep. From the trailer I was annoyed about Wolverine being the leader, he's not that kind of guy and I bet he is boring. The animation reminded me of X-Men Evolution. I had no intention to watch Spectacular Spiderman, but my brother recorded them and I watched them off the DVR and thought the show was really good. It reminds me a lot of the Ultimate Spiderman comics. Looking at the Wiki, it seems the show will come back on some Disney Channel known as Disney XD instead of the CW. But the 2nd season has already aired in Canada, Bulgaria, and Australia. The eps are on youtube.
