That's probably a good idea for those who sign contracts with carriers. I'll be buying one off contract tomorrow. I'll post pics and answer questions pertaining to the LTE version. Another poster here has the HSPA+ version Tschmal i believe.

Sprint: It's possible. If so I don't believe it will be any time soon. Next US carrier to get it will probably be ATT or Tmo -- and it likely won't be LTE capable.
If anyone gets the verizon phone can they confirm if hotspot is working out of the box? I imagine since it's supposed to remain untouched by VZ that the hotspot feature hasn't been blocked yet.
just checked. the answer is that it's blocked. there's no icon for it, but if you go through settings it'll say "checking for subscription"... to which i declined to subscribe when prompted. time to root. was the first person in line this morning. phone is superbadarse.
My panties are in a twist now. So that means Verizon not only put those 2 verizon apps on the phone, they blocked the hotspot that naturally comes with android. Wow just wow Verizon. I know they are very controlling but what happened to "pure" android experience. I know I know..wait for the root . I just want something to b**** about hahahaha. Thanks for the heads up bro.
Sprint did the exact thing with the Nexus S 4G and it's hotspot, so I think we can forget about the pure Google experience unless it's on T-Mobile.

Nothing yet, and it could be awhile. I imported one from the EU and it works fine with T-Mobile/AT&T 3G/4G. It's GSM/HSPA+. They're pretty pricey without contract though, although already $20 cheaper than when I bought it 2-3 weeks ago. All you need to do is put your SIM Card in it and it just works.
I'm on ATT now so I've been scouring the world over for information on it. This is my best guess on things: If it ends up being on ATT, it likely won't be for at least a month or two. Also, there is a good possibility it will be on ATT, but HSPA+ only. Now don't get me wrong, I'd still get it (I mean, I'm using an iphone without hspa+ right now so anything else is gravy), but not including LTE kind of hurts. Then again they may have a LTE version in the waiting, but it seems like that isn't the case as of yet based on what has passed through the FCC. As for Tmobile, it's hard to say. There is a version with a model number that corresponds with tmobile, however it doesn't seem to use the correct wireless bands for tmobile's service (it conveniently uses ATT's, with tmobiles blocked). In other words, I wouldn't hold my breath in ANY case. I would say that to me it seems more likely it'll be available for ATT simply due to how up in the air tmobile is. If I had to bet, I'd say 1-2 months -- att and hspa+. Hope that helps.
