Exactly, Russ is performing the role we thought we were getting with CP3. Harden was still getting worn out late because he could not play off ball and had to do all those drives so his jacking 3s didn’t fall. Actually it’s the same evil that befell Russ and why they fit so well. Through 3Qs Russ team was usually winning and he had around 15 shots. Worn out desperation chucking and TOs made him inefficient. Let him take his 3 3s a game and hit one and drive to the basket every play he can and you get the best version of him. We never questioned his heart just his judgment.

He told him “Ima get you back”. This series is going to get chippy, and fast. I think the Lakers are going to keep AD out there obviously, but start limiting McGee and Howard, in order to match up with the Rockets.

Also Kawhi seems to be clutch and Harden might be the best player for 45 minutes of a game. So we would then have 48 minutes of awesomeness.
