For all you Wes Anderson fans, I do believe that he's making an appearance at the Cinematexas Film Festival this coming September... Let me know if you need some info...

I love Wes Anderson and his films.

To me, they are about friendship, family, forgiveness, and death.
his characters care about one another, and he cares about his characters.

the music in Royal Tenebaums is amazing as well.

Dirk Calloway is the Max's friend in RUshmore.

"How long you been in country, Surf Boy?"

"I ain't even here. I'm in Cheyenne, Wyoming."- Dirk Calloway playing Vietnam soldier in Max Fischer's hit play

"I saved Latin. What did you ever do?"- Max Fischer

I recently reread Catcher in The Rye and looked at (Salinger's) Franny and Zooey, I see alot of similarities between them and Rushmore and Royal Tenebaums, respectively.

and I love the Wilson brothers as well.

Owen, Luke, and Andrew, all from Texas.

Andrew plays BOb's older bro in B.R.
"oh I'm sorry, I forgot about your little top secret mission."

He plays the coach in RUshmore.
"This is my baseball diamond Max."

And the hic who cuts off Margot's finger in Tenebaums.
"Why don't you step on over here to this Hickory Stick, sister."
