Who said anything about Sura's KNEE hanging by a thread? Why isn't there confidence that Sura will last through the season and perhaps the playoffs with No problem????
I didn't realize Ward was out for that long. I agree he sucks, but I was wondering if Strickland is being brought on to replace Ward or just to add depth in case Sura goes out. As bad is Ward is, I doubt Strickland is much of an improvement.
Because that's not how injuries get healed. Sura's knee isn't getting any better by him playing all these minutes and it will most likely come back to get him pretty soon. Picking up another PG would be wise, but I'm not sure about "Hot" Rod Strickland.
I read on ESPN that he might retire unless a certain Texas team signs him in the offseason or something, it was on one of those power ranking stuff
the sad thing is that we used to make fun of the Jazz because they were old, and kept signing old players. (i believe it was mark jackson). but now we do the same(also mark jackson) p.s. i'm not sure that this mark is spelled mark and not Marc. i know one is the center. but i'm talking about the point guard.
we were the oldest team in the league both years we won the title...or at least among the very oldest teams. we had a very young group in the remarkable period in which we missed the playoffs 4 years in a row.
Stockton never played for the Knicks so unlikely. I'm waiting to see John Starks suit up for the 2005 Rox.
I doubt that ... all the core players were late 20s/early 30s, except for Horry and Cassell, who were early 20s.
Do you actually watch the games? Do you listen to the commentators? He's already had the fluid sucked out his knee twice and had some gel stuff inserted in it. It's no secret his knees are in bad shape.
