I assumed that's what he meant, but the naive optimist inside of me thought he could have been saying "where did they find this guy originally?"

The Astros could cure cancer right now and the media would find a way to slight them. Holy ****, this gets old.

I always thought letting Rollins go was a very bad idea. This gives some possible justification to that.

Having said that, this makes keeping him much easier if he's suspended half the season and probably is now guaranteed to be kept. Still wish we would have protected him.

The vast majority of guys that got popped for PEDs were AAA/AAAA minor league journeymen just trying to make the bigs. Given the way things worked back then and the money involved, I don't blame them one bit.

But *how* did they cure that cancer? That's all that matters to some folks.

Peter Gammons desperately needs a cure for mushmouth. Won't someone please donate to his cause?

Did you intend to make that comment about a recovering stroke victim?

I had no idea he's a recovering stroke victim. He's been talking with a mouth full of gauze pads for 30 years, though.

Media would be like..."look how much money this will cost doctors all over the world. No more cancer patients! Who is running the Astros, anyway?"

Screw that, there's no reason to give away a guy who can throw 100mph if we don't have to 40-man roster him.

Meanwhile, DDJ made the Rangers opening day roster

I wonder how long DDJr is going to stay on with the Rangers? But I think the Rangers are going to do everything in their power to keep him.

He took a hit to the face, which probably affected his 2014 season. He will be good when he gets his chance.

    But time will tell.

And the Astros need to be proactive on the trade front because they stand to expose a lot more talent in this years Rule 5 draft.
