soon but please don't come back coaching. You have left a pile of mess for the org to clean up. Your great decisions have put the team in a deep abyss, to name a few, Bryce, EG, Glen Rice, Moochie, etc. Worse, there isn't any cap room for changes. CD, please stay home, play with your grandchildren, flyfishing or something.
lol...true dat. Way to hard to tell...too many to step on. Artficial! Dawson is awesome. He has brought so many good players to this organization.
i really miss rudy so much. at least, rudy looks nice... i think this year's playoff is just a dream. we may need give yao a break, and give other young players time, and also give rudy a period time to rest. i hope rudy get well asap. miss him.
Dude, artificial, if you hate the Rockets so much, why the hell watch them?!?!!?!?!?!? Put your complaining in a tamale/taco/egg roll and EAT IT.
Artificial:- It is with regret that I ask you to step down from this Forum of Rocket Fans! For a young person of the 21st Century, you are indeed the most uncouth, the most unloving and the most lacking in empathy, that has posted on this board. You should be ashamed of yourself and beg for forgivness. You have been nasty to an 'Icon' of Rockets Basketball!
WTF Firrst of all that's Dawson's job, but Rudy does have input. Sp even if u want to criticize the personell decision, this isn't the team to do it against. We have had our bad moments but everyteam does, the Rockets are overall pretty good with their decisions. Let's first look at the bad u listed Bryce - um 19 th pick or so in the draft, how good do u want this guy to be? EG - 20 years old with potential, ok maybe Jefferson is doing well now, but check back in 3 years. If you're mad about trading all 3 picks, don't be, we needed the roster and the cap space that year so the other 2 were worthless and would've hurted us more if we actually drafted them. Glen Rice - Hm, we got a player that will be 9 mil off the books next year and not have to pay Shanon 68 mil, who we kind of agreed to pay for signing with us for the MCE. If you think we didn't have to pay Shanon for signing with us for what he did, then you obviously haven't followed the league long enough to know how it works. Moochie - should we've of sign him to that contract? Probably not, 4 mil for a back up pg is a bad deal, especially the way Norris played lately, but at the time we signed the deal, he was playing really well and was actually a commodity, happens to the best of teams, signing a player who fails to live up to its contract. So that's what, 1/4 that's trully a bad move???? Let's just for argument sake name some more bad moves just for fun... Cato - Overpaid? Maybe, but you got to understand the value of big man, especially young athletic ones. Look at the salaries of guys like Vin Baker, Big Country, Illgasukas, Shawn Bradley, Juwan Howard, Eric Dampier etc etc etc. Cato is becoming one of the best backup big man in the game and I would go as far as saying he would start and be productive on teams like the knicks, or New Jersey or Orlando. I say at most we over paid by 2 million dollars/ year, but if he continue to improve like he's been doing, it can turn out to be an ok move. Roderick Rhodes - Yes he sucks now but he was considered almost untouchable after his rookie season because of how well he played. his problem was his attitude, besides another late first rounder, usually a pickup most of the time. Matt Maloney - another bad contract right? But how many all - rookie second team pg doesn't get a $3mil / year contract? How many team wouldn't pay their all rookie second team pg $3mil / year? Now lets focus on the good Othella - a solid second rounder that starts every now and then. Very solid player for a 30th pick. Cat - 40+ pick in the draft, hate him all u want, he's as good of a value for what he pay and the pick we drafted him with. Dickerson - got us Francis and a very solid player for a 18th pick. Francis - Nuff Said. Yao - looks like no brainer now but if you were here during the summer, u know how hard it was to chose Yao, the Rox had the balls to do it despite fears of CBA blackmail. Cassell - 20th pick about for a player that actually helped out greatly on 2 champion ship runs, great pick up. Mario Elie, Chucky Brown, Mark Bryant, Sam Mack, Emanuel Davis.... solid players for the original CBA, hmmm solid players we signed for pretty much nothing, how can you argue with taht. Drexler - nuff said KT - you know you really can't complain that much about Rockets draft day success when they continue to get quality out of lower first rounders, and the trade for Posey is still a toss up. In conclusion Rox management are one of the better ones. Before you go on again, let me ask you, how many years was the Mavs, Kings, Nets, Celtics, Detroit, Minnesota in the lottery before actually had a shot at contention? The only team that really didn't have to rebuild are the Spurs. Spurs got lucky with getting Duncan and Tony Parker was a GREAT pick - up, but those are anomally. Also don't say Lakes and Pacer didn't have to rebuild, Lakers were a mediocre team that really didn't go any where or had a chance to go any where for much of the 90's and the same could've be said for Pacer in the last couple of years. BOTTOM LINE, THAT WAS A PATHETIC FAILED ATTEMPT OF A CLASSLESS BASHING OF SOMEONE WHO WAS REALLY SICK AND HAVE DONE A LOT, AND I MEAN A LOT FOR THIS FRANCHISE.
