Why all the hate for this guy? I've seen countless times people on here, or anaylst say that Roy chokes, can't win the big game. He must've won some big games to get to the final four. He has a career winning % of .802? Or something around that, just ridculous. He's a hell of a coach, yet he doesn't seem to get the respect because he hasn't won a ring yet. My question is just why?

Roy: After we won the first national championship, I went up to Dean and said, "Now we're shutup all those critics, coach." Dean looked at me and said, "You know, I don't feel any better of a coach as I did two hours ago."

When you consistently have great talent and don't ever win a championship, you get called a choker. Fact of life.

I'm glad Roy Williams finally won, just as I was when Boheim got his, I feel for the Illinois players though, had a great season.
