I was just listening to the old RHCP's CD "Mother's Milk", which had an entire track dedicated to Magic Johnson and their Two-peat championship back in the late 80's. I want to have a CD like that in my car. This thread is about people who have downloadable songs that we can have about OUR team. We already have the best website. As i mentioned before, me and my group (The Texas Trio) would have no problem recording a song about the Rockets...if you have lyrics swing em my way and i'll do my best to make an official Rockets song

"Get Down Tonight" - KC and the Sunshine Band That song was in this budweiser commerical that played constantly during the 1995 Finals. I think about the Rockets everytime I hear it. Me and my group had a song about the rockets in the 04-05 season, but it was recorded with our old label and well... long story short when i see those guys they run from me because they have a "Walt Williams vs Shawn Bradley" a$$whoopin comin from me. But i'm probably going to do one by myself as 2 of my groupmates live in Baton Rouge and the one out here in houston is more of a football fanatic.
I still do that. The Tag Team "Whoomp" for the Rockets is still my favorite. I got it on a sampler disc that was for some mobile audio store. A few Christmas's ago a bbs member posted quite a few of them here.
forget it, he's rollin. wanna really trip out? keep an eye on Comedy Central for the replay of the Shatner Roast...they show the video that the Family Guy bit was a direct reference to. William Shatner doing Rocket Man. Im gonna take those two videos and interlace them together so it looks like a duet with Stewie and Shatner...shoudl be hilarious.
