not much to discuss here - just wanted a headline thread . i had no idea the rowdies would be so effective as they are - making the news in different cities, frequent tv air time, etc... is there any way you guys can start a buzz about wanting francis back at toyota center? (hopefully like me, you want this) do a chant or something - make worrell address it on tv. "we want franchise" you guys are the heard voice of "the rockets fan". you can do this... oh - and how about a "we want calvin" chant. thanks homies!
oh! while your at it, chant for my girlfriend to take me back... something like: "he's done cheating! take him back!" should work. thanks, you guys are great!
I hope they don't do this even if he is released. What if McGrady doesn't want him? It would make for an uncomfortable situation. It may be the wrong perception I have but the times I've seen them on the court during the usual halfcourt pleasantries [Katrina game, Vs Orlando, Vs NY] it's looked pretty icy. You just never know. I think the Rowdies shouldn't be used for fans' personnel decisions.
DD, when Francis was here, you and I (and several others) were his biggest critics. Can you believe that we would consider getting him back. Are we crazy?
whatever y'all want to say, just dont say anything about bringing back Calvin.. u know how embarrasing it will be for Clyde or Bull? I know they are kinda boring, but they are former rockets Champions and regardless of what they say, we should still respect them... as for Francis, I really dont want another "NY legend" on the team.. can y'all imagine the 3's he will jack up? and I am a 100% sure that he wont work w/ Mac simply because Houston traded him for Tmac and I heard him on TV saying "the trade wasn't right, Rockets did a bad move" or something like that (I am not sure). so please, I dont want a ballhog at the 1.. but I would suggest something like "play VSpan" (only if Rafer & JL3 are sucking really bad).. or "bring Webber".. and I still haven't heard the "MVP" chants for Mac.. did y'all do it or was it me who is deaf??

Thanks for the word. I'll check them out. Hey ya'll please be loud on Saturday, I'll be doing my part, but our section is kinda dead most games. As poorly as JL3 apparently played vs the Suns (I didn't see the game), I am a little curious to see him match up with AI. He will get schooled so bad, but who doesn't. It would be a fun pairing to keep an eye on....
Francis claims that he was the one that built Toyota Center, so if that is true i think bringing himself back to play in it is an easy thing for him to do and does not require us to request anything.
though I despise Rafer and his inability to defend or finish shots in any consistent manner, I really don't want to see Stevie in a Rockets uniform ever again. Ever.
