Karl Rove- why would using Obama's middle name perpetuate the notion that republicans are bigoted? It's just his name! McCain- why would you have to assure us that it will be a "respectful debate?" What's disrespectful about using his name? RNC Chairman Mike Duncan- what do you mean "these kinds of campaign tactics? What's wrong with using his name? It's his name!
If "Hitler" was a family name given to you at birth, and every time an indiviual, who has declared that they are on a "different team" than you, referred to you as "Dan HITLER O'Malley" you'd know what they were implying and kind of cucksocker they were.
Tex? TJ? wnes? Can any of you guys make sense of what it is Karl Rove, John McCain, and the Rebublican National Committee chairman are saying here? Why are they making such a big deal out of a name?
I wonder if Rove will make a daily press release stating that in no way Republicans should call Obama by his middle name?
Actually I think the plan is for just about every week one s GOP state party official or another to call him "Hussein Obama" so that McCain, Rove or a surrogate can act like they are against it. Every other week they will have dumbo talk about his youthful pot smoking and they will denounce that. Same with the alleged undercover Muslim conspiracy to capture the presidency etc. etc.
Was the black helicopter late picking you up today? Maybe your tin foil helmet wasn't on tight enough. Come on, glynch. Not everything the Republicans do is a conspiracy. Just like not everything the Democrats do is a conspiracy.
Refman, I think it was obvious that I was being a bit sarcastic. You seem to often resort to claiming others you disagree with are conspiracy nuts. Often what the parties and candidates do is motivated by political tactics and guile. This is not the same as alleging everything they do is a conspiracy. There was an earlier example in which a state official in the Hillary campaign resigned in disgrace after talking about Obama's teen drug use. Each time the Hillary camp apologized for such a dirty tactic on his part , they repeated what the official had said in great detail. Many commentators were talking about how it was a way for them to keep the story alive for several days and repeat the charges while acting like they were upset at such an indiscretion.
They use it to rile liberals up. I like to act riled up so they can keep on using it, because I know it hurts their perception far more than it hurts anyone else. Personally, I can't get enough of conservatives thinking they are actually getting voters on their side by saying Hussein Obama. Maybe I'll start joining some political forums and complain about Hussein Obama's pro-terrorist policies and get some on the fence people to vote against the conservatives.
I would hope that you were being sarcastic, but sadly, I can't really tell anymore. I see so many posts from you that allege some greater right wing conspiracy clouded by some sense of malice towards large groups of people, that it gets difficult to take it seriously. Oh, and nothing the Hillary campaign does should be a shock to anybody. She's desparate. She knows that she's losing.
