True. I knew the day would come. Where Bonzi out-muscles or wings. Didn't see the dead on 17ft jumpers raining in though.

    Same thoughts exactly, A_3PO.

Although, I will give him the benefit of the doubt given the impressive 22 win streak where at times he made key adjustments that paid off but these past two games he displayed absolutely horrendous coaching in the second half of each game. I'm sure he knows this so hopefully we've seen the end of that pattern.

i'm sure you would do a much finer job substituting players if you were coaching the rockets ;)

The problem is playing both Mutumbo and Hayes for 20+ minutes a game. You just don't have enough firepower from the other players on the floor to do that. Hayes started getting big minutes again after Landry went down, but I think that's a mistake. If Landry can't go, Novak should be getting more minutes, not Hayes. Hayes = Adam Everett = overrated.

i think the coach need to trust like bench player more because during the 22winning streak the rocket were winning by thier denfense and bench production. Now the coach depent to much on the starter. Also we dont got that much fire power. The rocket starting five, scola can scores but he get into foul trouble which limited his play time, deke make had an major impact on defence but not a reilable offense and since landry is out deke and hayes is playing more minute, which limit rockets scoring oppunties at center. Shane make be a very a good defense player and scores few point per game you cant expect him to produce much offense. Tmac is good player overall, he get double and its really making it hard for him to scores and when he pass the ball, other player fail to make the shoot and he get tired warm out.
Rafler is not that reilable because sometime he can and some time he can't scores. BIGGEST PROBLEM ROCKET NEED TO BE ABLE TO FINISH GAMES AFTERTAKING A LEAD BY HALF OR THIRD QUATER.

Exactly, Furious Jam. When Deke and Hayes do a pick and roll with T-Mac, it's practically making the double come right to T-Mac. Passing the ball to either one of these guys on the roll makes very little sense as either they will not catch it, or they will make an awkward shot that will miss 90 percent of the time. I really hope Landry will help the pick and roll when he gets back. The question is when Landry will get back at this point.

Another thing, I wouldn't mind seeing some more variation in the pick and roll. Call me crazy, but would it work to have Novak set some picks up top for T-Mac. How about Brooks with the ball and T-Mac setting picks for him?

The pick and roll games works well when both players are capable of scoring inside and outside. Novak won't do anything inside and they can easily rotate to defend him with a wing player down low. This is where the rockets sorely miss Landry. When Mutumbo leaves the floor you need 2 bigs in who can defend and score. The offense was flowing great because you couldn't rotate off of everyone.

Novak needs to play though. Right now no one respects the rockets' role players because they can't do anything without a pass from tmac and if they do get a pass they are getting chased off of the 3 point line. Then they're man is behind them and they still can't get a bucket out of it.
