Is it surprising? The point he's badly trying to make isn't wrong. It's not like Barr hasn't been outwardly racist for sometime now. This is almost as much on ABC as it is on Barr. The odds of something like this happening were extraordinarily huge. I'm only surprised it took this long. I do find her new excuse particularly hilarious. So, you're only racist when you're tired?
Well, her story is that this woman’s race didn’t cross her mind when she made the comment. I mean, it’s either that, or she was aware of her race but lacked the impulse control in the moment to not make a racist tweet. I didn’t watch the reboot, but I think if done right it could have been a good thing to bridge some of the divide in our country. So I’m disappointed it ended like this.

This is yet again a pretty stupid take (starting to become a trend), there are a lot of things that happened over 25 years ago that I no longer bring up in every thread....I'd imagine that is the case for just about everyone. I'm not sure what point you are trying to make honestly. NFL players who are intentionally disrespectful (per their own initial comments on the subject) by taking a knee during the anthem are disrespectful, yes. Roseanne was disrespectful for her antics during the anthem nearly 28 years ago....again what is your point? Do you honestly think that you have one?
I never could quite figure out why Sara Gilbert agreed to this - knowing how cuckoo Roseanne is. I guess she is shaking her head and saying to herself that she should have passed onto coming back to this show.
