ly a 3 point shooter or consistent scoring threat in this league. I think he is LAZY on the offensive side.

I THINK HE IS ENABLED by people intimidated by his HARD reputation to give him the truth......HE IS NOT AS GOOD AS HE THINKS ON OFFENSE.

PEOPLE here give him a pass yet if YAO or Battier who plays D had the shooting stats RONVICT does we would never hear the end of it. WHY?

WHY does RONVICT get a free pass and all we do is blame it on Yao and his problems?

RONVICT and AB will kill this team in the playoffs......

Yao not being able to guard the high pick and roll will kill this team in the playoffs.

AB letting his men blow past him because he's small and weak will kill Yao on top of his lateral movement.

Rons stupidity will kill the rest of the team just like his other teams.

I KNEW YAO would be the first person blamed in response to this thread.

You bit first guys....thanks for driving home my point.

What can you do? Anyone with Yao's size will sttuggle guarding the pick n roll. I do think that our playoff success depends on how well Brooks and Artest will play. If we get the best of Brooks and Artest, which we have seen, we should cruise through the 1st. If we get the worst of Brooks and Artest, which we also seen, its going to be a tough ride.

Agreed we will make the 2nd round of the playoffs depending how well Ron Artest and AB play. Yao and Scola are gonna have high field goal percentage so it is gonna depend on our guards and Ron to make it to the next round..

If you think Ron gets a free pass on this board then you don't read this board. There is a thread where the majority of the people said he should be benched.

Technically he's been d a good three point shooter, but yeah you're not reading this forum enough if you think they fans give him a pass. With some of the posters around here, i dont know how ANY rocket would get a free pass. Every single one of them has been bashed this season at some point.

The only surprising thing is that Carl Herrera wasn't the one who started this thread.

Ron makes some dumb mistakes but we are where are because of Yao and Ron.

And yes, Brooks is going to kill us in the playoffs.

Deer in the freaking headlights man.

that could be. but it the offense is set up the way it should be, we get the pts back and kill the teams at the other end. case in pt - shaq for entire career.

so before yao's inability to guard the high p&r kills us, more likely the inability of our pg running the offense will kill us first. that, and artest suddenly feels the need to prove he's in the league of kobe or a mcgrady at his peak.

i don't think ron is being 'ENABLED by PEOPLE here' to do anything :D

that being said, his off-balance quicktrigger 3's are making a mess of our offense. i understand that yao cannot be relied on to create all the offense all of the time, but why not bring ron off of curls or picks at least to free him up for better looks...

anything is better than watching him dribble step a few times, try getting 1/2 an inch of separation from the defender, and then throw up that left leaning prayer...

wafer has been money from mid-range the past few games shooting like walter the greyhound......instead of letting ron go 2-18 starks mode on us, why not run wafer off picks for some looks?

Wafer still isnt getting enough minutes, and Ron is turning into Tracy. Never drives the ball, just wants to hang out on the perimeter and shoot jumpers.
